About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our main enterprise channel for proactive engagement with customers and prospects.

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for designing and executing automated multi-channel campaign activities and customer journeys within our marketing automation platform. You will work closely with our Data, Strategy & Analytics team and across the broader business to ensure seamless execution and delivery of all campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a campaign delivery capability that is reliable, scalable, and measurable in the execution of all campaign activities.
  • Ensure seamless execution and delivery of all campaigns across multiple channels, including integration into Salesforce and other digital mediums.
  • Develop a marketing automation campaign delivery framework, focusing on automated and trigger-based campaigns and customer communications journeys.
  • Identify and build data triggers for automated communications in the SFMC platform.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to deliver and continuously optimize campaigns across the entire customer lifecycle.
  • Act as RACV's Subject Matter Expert in the delivery of all key communication workstreams in cross-functional projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed accurately and within specified time frames.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders and external providers.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge and technical experience in managing data imports and writing SQL statements.
  • Knowledge in HTML/CSS and Salesforce Ampscript/Javascript coding is highly regarded.
  • Experience in SFMC components, particularly Automation Studio and Journey Builder, is highly regarded.
  • Degree-qualified in Computer Science or a related field is desirable.
  • Proven experience in developing, optimizing, and managing CRM and 1:1 campaigns and journeys.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and business acumen when designing solutions to business problems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines.
