Genesis Minerals Limited is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Professional to join their Site Services team at the Leonora Operations.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working 8 days on and 6 days off roster. The role may be Fly-in Fly-out from Perth WA, Drive-in Drive-out from Kalgoorlie or residential in Leonora.

The successful candidate will carry out a variety of general maintenance duties across the surface operations and accommodation village.

Main Responsibilities
  • Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on Genesis facilities, rooms and equipment, including carpentry, painting and general repairs.
  • Action maintenance requests and plan for required works as needed.
  • Carry out maintenance work in a timely and efficient manner, including patching and painting of internal and external walls, carpentry works, testing and tagging (training provided if not already achieved) and hard landscaping maintenance.
  • Undertake condition audits of all requested buildings and facilities.
  • Provide general maintenance support to additional trade areas within the team, such as the Electrical, Refrigeration and Plumbing Teams.
  • Support Processing Plant shutdowns and undertake emergency works as required.
About You

We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in a similar role, who possesses:

  • A Driver's License (C Class, Manual Car), minimum.
  • Carpentry trade qualifications.
  • Painting experience.
  • Forklift Ticket.
