Market Planning Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving accurate forecasting within the planning system.

A minimum of 5 years' experience in demand and supply planning within a fast-moving consumer goods environment is required. Strong analytical and planning skills are essential, as well as proficiency in using the planning functionality of SAP and knowledge of statistical forecasting tools and concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Owning primary and secondary parameters within the planning system for both demand and inventory functions at a national level.
  • Working with Marketing and the Customer Team through regularly scheduled forecast alignment meetings.
  • Performing a custodial function within the forecasting process.
  • Leading collaborative efforts within the Supply Chain and managing Supply Chain Execution for Key Projects from start to finish.
  • Responding to and anticipating reasonable requests to expedite shipments during periods of unforecasted upswing in demand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in an operations-related field.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills across multiple levels and functions.
  • Great teammate with a focus on customer service.
