**Job Description**

As a Boilermaker/Welder at Duratec Australia, you will be responsible for a variety of duties such as:

  1. Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures and project schedules
  2. Carry out fabrication, maintenance and upgrades
  3. Working with mobile cranes


**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III in Engineering | Fabrication (Boilermaking/Welding)
  • Current MSIC – or ability to obtain one
  • Gas Test Atmosphere
  • Construction white card
  • Drivers licence
  • Rigging ticket – advantageous
  • Arc Air Gouging experience - advantageous
  • Experience in construction, oil & gas or mining industries
  • Able to weld and pass horizontal, vertical and above head welds
  • Actively contribute to the team, proactive and reliable with high safety standards
  • Able to read site plans and fill out JHA's & PCF's
