The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our First Line Mortgages Credit Risk team as a Senior Manager. You will play a critical role in optimizing mortgage credit policy and managing policy change initiatives.

You will work closely with the Executive Manager and Service Owner to drive strategic decision-making and ensure effective credit risk portfolio management. Your expertise will be essential in identifying, evaluating, and interrogating relevant credit risk data and analytics to support sound policy changes.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess strong communication and stakeholder management abilities to effectively communicate recommendations to key decision-makers and drive proactive engagement with the 2nd line Credit Risk team.

This is a permanent, Sydney-based role that offers a fantastic opportunity for career growth and development.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or Banking and Finance
  • Experience working directly in or supporting a mortgage business (essential)
  • Experience in credit risk management, including policy, process, systems, and controls
  • Advanced knowledge of the mortgage and credit regulatory and compliance environment
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and strengthen relationships with a variety of stakeholders
