Job Title: Support Worker in Elderly Care
Job DescriptionThis role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of elderly Australians who require support with daily living activities.
You will have the chance to deliver high-quality care and services that empower individuals to maintain their independence and well-being.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about building relationships with clients and their families, as well as working collaboratively with a dedicated team to provide comprehensive support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Predominantly domestic assistance duties, including light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- In-home supports, such as assistance with daily living, social activities, and building/maintaining social networks
- Personal care, including showering, daily hygiene, and monitoring health and well-being
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or similar)
- Australian Driver's Licence and ownership of a registered vehicle
- Strong communication skills and ability to build/maintaining positive relationships
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment)

This is a casual position requiring a minimum commitment of 3 days per week. Flexible hours are available, including options during school hours if needed. The role is Monday to Friday, no evenings, weekends, or sleepovers required. Travel within a 40 km radius is necessary.
