About Us: Greenacres Turf Group is a leading provider of premium turf products and services in Western Australia.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Turf Management Professional to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage turf areas, including seeding, mowing, fertilizing, irrigating, replanting, and weeding.
  • Perform pest and disease control using appropriate methods and chemicals.
  • Implement and oversee irrigation schedules to ensure optimal turf health.
  • Conduct routine inspections and perform necessary repairs on equipment.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of turf renovations and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in turf management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in turf management or a related field and/or a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of turf grass varieties, pests, diseases, and weed control methods.
  • Experience operating and maintaining turf management machinery and equipment.
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems and water management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license.

Desirable:

  • HR Driver's license.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Construction White Card or willingness to obtain.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a sports facility or golf course.
