Position Summary

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, you will be pivotal in enhancing RACV's primary channel for engaging with Members, Customers, and Prospects. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving business performance through increased awareness, loyalty, consideration, purchase, usage, and renewal of RACV's offerings. Your main focus will be on designing and executing automated multi-channel marketing campaigns and customer journeys utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).

This role will collaborate closely with the Data, Strategy & Analytics team and various departments including Technology, Digital Products, Brand, and Marketing, as well as specific product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a robust campaign delivery system that is dependable, scalable, and measurable for all marketing activities.
  • Ensure the flawless execution and delivery of campaigns across various channels, integrating with Salesforce and other digital platforms.
  • Create a framework for marketing automation campaign delivery, focusing on automated and trigger-based communications.
  • Identify and establish data triggers for automated messaging within the SFMC platform.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to execute and continuously refine campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Serve as RACV's Subject Matter Expert for key communication initiatives in cross-functional projects aimed at achieving positive business results.
  • Guarantee that projects are completed accurately and within established timelines.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications for Success

  • Proficient in managing data imports and writing SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and Salesforce Ampscript/JavaScript is advantageous.
  • Experience with SFMC components, particularly Automation Studio and Journey Builder, is preferred.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, optimizing, and managing CRM and personalized campaigns.
  • Ability to apply analytical thinking and business insight to solve complex challenges.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects.
