
Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist - Contract Management will play a pivotal role in developing strategic supplier partnerships that drive real commercial results. This individual will lead the end-to-end management of supplier contracts from negotiation and execution to performance and renewal, ensuring every agreement delivers value, mitigates risk, and aligns with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts in line with procurement strategies, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Draft and execute contractual documents including variations, MOUs, LOIs, and confidentiality agreements, ensuring alignment with legal requirements.
- Negotiate favourable terms, pricing, and service levels in collaboration with Legal and Category Managers, driving commercial benefits for the organization.
- Manage contract renewals, extensions, and terminations strategically and on time, minimizing disruptions to business operations.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks, resolve disputes, and manage price adjustments, protecting the organization's interests.
- Track and realise commercial benefits such as rebates and discounts with Finance and Category Managers, driving revenue growth.
- Align procurement strategies with project goals through close collaboration with internal teams, ensuring seamless delivery.
Requirements for the Role
- Degree in Law, Business Management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
- Extensive experience in contract management within procurement or commercial environments, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Proven ability to manage contracts from initiation through to renewal or close-out, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
- A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting tools.
