About the Role
The Content Discovery Specialist will play a critical role in the TV & Online Content Operations team, responsible for sourcing and delivering media assets to support the discoverability of SBS content across various platforms. This includes working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of metadata, artwork, and other supporting materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Content Distribution partners to source and deliver media assets, including artwork, scripts, and subtitles.
- Manage a high volume of information and communications, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Research, verify, and manually enter data into SBS systems to ensure accurate metadata.
- Work closely with TV & Online Content teams to ensure program metadata is complete and correct for all partners.
Requirements
- Customer service focus with a positive attitude and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, with attention to detail and ability to read, enter, and check large volumes of data.
- Computer literacy, with experience using cloud-based applications for media delivery and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Basic understanding of copyright or content licensing preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple requests from across the business.
