Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tax Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing tax advisory services to clients, including tax planning, compliance and risk management.

As a Tax Specialist, you will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their tax obligations. You will also collaborate with colleagues to deliver complex tax projects and provide technical expertise to clients.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tax advisory services to clients, including tax planning, compliance and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their unique needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver complex tax projects and provide technical expertise to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure that clients are aware of any relevant updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Postgraduate academic qualifications such as a Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is highly regarded.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Big 4 accounting firm or a mid-tier firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
