Household Management Position in Melbourne

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Household Manager in Melbourne.

  • This is a full-time opportunity that requires you to manage the daily operations of a private household, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and providing exceptional support to the family members.
  • The successful candidate will have professional experience in household management or related fields and be able to work flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • School pick-up and drop-off services for children
  • Tidying and organizing kitchen and cupboard spaces
  • Running errands and shopping for groceries and other essentials
  • Managing laundry duties including washing, folding, and ironing clothes
  • Changing linens and maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Providing administrative support as needed

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in household management or related fields
  • Ability to work flexible hours with some evenings and weekends required
  • Detailed and able to anticipate household needs with high level of organization skills
  • Self-motivated, able to multi-task and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • 100% reliable and willing to commit to the role ongoing
  • Use initiative and can work unsupervised with minimal supervision
  • A strong work ethic, great communication skills, and ability to build rapport with family members
  • Full working rights in Australia (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or visa with unlimited working rights)
  • A current Working with Children check and National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
  • Driver's license and car ownership
