Job Description

The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is seeking a Research Assistant to join our team. This role will involve assisting with overnight koala trapping duties, which could be up to 3 nights a week in busy periods. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in daytime field work and other research projects.

• You will have experience with koala husbandry, handling and capture">
• You will be an energised, diplomatic, highly capable, and personable individual with a genuine interest and passion for wildlife, conservation and research">
• You will have high level of time management and organisational skills with a genuine ability to work independently">
• You can demonstrate a highly flexible, cooperative, and positive attitude">
• You will have hold a full driver's licence or a provisional P2 license">
• Applicants should ideally live within a 15-minute drive of the hospital">
