About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Technology team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software components for our clients' products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software components using C#, ASP.Net, and.Net Core
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and analysts
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code
  • Investigate and fix bugs with the support team
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure software functionality
  • Help diagnose and fix errors found during testing
  • Create and maintain documentation for new and existing systems
  • Share knowledge and expertise with the team
  • Identify areas for improvement beyond daily tasks
  • Focus on user needs while developing software
  • Follow the SCRUM process and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety policies
Requirements
  • Experience working on both the front-end and back-end of web applications
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.Net, and.Net Core for building.NET applications
  • Experience with SQL Server development, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers
  • Familiarity with at least one additional general-purpose programming language beyond.NET
  • Experience building web applications
  • Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably AWS, with a Dev Ops culture
  • Experience using tools like Git, Bitbucket/Git Hub, Jira, and Docker for collaboration and project management
  • In-depth understanding of Java Script/Type Script and related concepts
