The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Specialist to join our team of professionals. As a Senior Control Systems Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale projects and gain exposure to multiple control systems.
Your Responsibilities
Key Areas of Focus:
- Control System Design: Develop and implement control systems solutions for mining, mineral processing, and other projects, ensuring they meet engineering standards and client requirements.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize broad knowledge and skills to resolve complex engineering problems.
- Technical Leadership: Take ownership of control system aspects within projects and develop, review, and approve project deliverables.
- Documentation: Independently produce technical documentation including reports, specifications, procedures, and manuals to a high standard.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, project alignment, and successful outcomes.
- Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers, fostering their professional growth within the company.
- Site and Commissioning Support: Participate in unaccompanied site visits and commissioning activities to ensure control systems operate as intended in real-world environments.
