Job OverviewThis permanent opportunity is available for a qualified educator to join our team at KU Alexander Magit Kindergarten. The successful candidate will work with a mixed age group (Jarrah) and be responsible for providing education and care to children, focusing on building relationships and creating an inclusive environment where children feel valued and respected.
The role includes 19 paid hours per week, including break time, with a schedule that encompasses Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00am-1:45pm and Fridays from 8:00am-3:30pm. In addition, the successful candidate will receive 4 hours of non-contact time per week to support their professional development.
About the RoleThe Diploma Qualified Educator position requires an individual who is committed to providing high-quality education and care to children. The ideal candidate will possess a recognized Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates, and a current Working with Children Check.
Additionally, the successful candidate should have a sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010), the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
The salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
