Inpatient Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Inpatient Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to young people aged 13-18 with general mental health Tier 4 presentations, including disordered eating.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct admission assessments and maintain effective management plans for all young people on the unit
- Review referrals and determine appropriateness for admission
- Conduct risk assessments and review regularly
- Allocate specialist psychological treatments in line with individual needs
- Assess physical health
- Ensure effective liaison with referring teams
- Facilitate regular CPA review meetings
- Act as Responsible Clinician for young people detained under the Mental Health Act
- Involvement in quality, inspections, and governance processes
- Registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a licence to practice
- Experience of CAMHS Forensic and/or Eating Disorders desirable
