We are seeking a seasoned Industrial Relations professional to join our team as an IR Business Liaison.

About the Role

This is a project site based role in the heart of Brisbane, with a competitive salary package including a laptop and mobile phone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project operations.
  • Provide expert advice on enterprise agreements, Fair Work Act, and Right of Entry legislation.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential industrial relations risks.
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity and cultural awareness.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or IR or equivalent experience/qualifications.
  • 3+ years of experience in IR/ER in construction/mining or heavy industry.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel.
