About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Abacus Human Capital. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, processing payroll, handling reconciliations, and collaborating with other bookkeepers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of 6 key clients, working closely with small to medium-sized businesses across various industries
  • Process payroll for businesses with up to 25 employees
  • Handle reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Collaborate with two other bookkeepers within the firm
  • Visit clients on-site to gain valuable insights into their businesses
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper managing multiple clients simultaneously
  • Proficiency in XERO, Hubdoc, and Microsoft Suite
  • Experience in working closely with clients and establishing long-term relationships
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • A motivated, cheerful, and friendly individual who enjoys assisting others and having fun with the team
