Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Opportunity

Making a positive impact in the lives of older people is an incredibly rewarding experience.

As an Aged Care Volunteer, you will play a vital role in keeping older individuals connected and engaged with their community.

  • Provide companionship and friendship to an older person living in a residential aged care facility or receiving a Home Care Package.
  • Commit to providing at least one hour of social support per fortnight for a minimum of six months.

We carefully match our volunteers with someone in the same area who shares similar interests and preferences.

The benefits of volunteering include improving quality of life and reducing loneliness among older people. Your visits will bring joy to the person you are matched with.

  • Matched with an older person based on location, interests, and preferences.
  • Receive ongoing support from our dedicated ACVVS Project Officer.
  • Access training opportunities to enhance your skills and experience as a volunteer.

Please note:

  • You must be over 18 years of age.
  • You will need to undergo a National Police Check during your orientation.
