Job Opportunity: Weighbridge Attendant

We are seeking an individual to fill a temporary role as a Weighbridge Attendant at a local quarry in Hartley. This position is for 2 days per week, with the possibility of a permanent part-time role. You will have the flexibility to choose your preferred workdays and hours from 7am to 3pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To accurately weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles
  • Assist customers with enquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry and report generation
  • Answer telephone calls and direct them as needed
  • Operate computerized systems and other work-related tools efficiently
  • Produce reports using weighbridge software as required and assist with generating purchase orders
  • Process receipting and payment checks daily
  • Resolve any issues that may arise with the weighbridge

Essential Requirements:

  • Moderate computer skills and experience with computerized systems
  • Previous administration experience, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong work ethic, reliability and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to transport themselves to the workplace
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when performing tasks
