Overview


Holmesglen, a leading education provider, is seeking an experienced Waterproofing Educator to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of waterproofing professionals.



About the Role


This casual opportunity offers an attractive hourly rate and provides a unique chance to apply engaging teaching methods that ignite students' enthusiasm for the waterproofing industry. As a Waterproofing Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs and fostering a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for Holmesglen students.



Key Responsibilities



  • Deliver lectures, workshops, and other educational programs related to waterproofing
  • Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of our students and industry partners
  • Foster strong relationships with industry partners to ensure that our programs are relevant and effective
  • Contribute to the development of new courses and programs in the area of waterproofing


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A completed waterproofing apprenticeship and proven experience as a registered practitioner
  • Substantial industry and teaching experience, with a focus on course development
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and research skills for diverse student engagement
  • Aptitude for innovative and flexible educational delivery, highlighting adaptability and creativity in teaching approaches
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units

Salary


The estimated salary for this role is $45-$60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
