Optical Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Optical Assistant to join our team, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store. As an Optical Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for greeting them warmly, answering their queries, and offering guidance on our products and services.

In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills through our industry-leading training program. You will learn about our products, including glasses and contact lenses, and how to assist customers with pre-screening activities for eye-tests. You will also gain experience in dispensing prescriptions, ordering glasses and contact lenses, and providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a passion for customer care, and a desire to learn. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team, maintain high standards of shop floor presentation, and complete operational and administrative tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greeting customers warmly and answering their queries
  • Providing guidance on our products and services
  • Assisting with pre-screening activities for eye-tests
  • Dispensing prescriptions, ordering glasses and contact lenses
  • Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments
