We're seeking an exceptional Data Engineer to join our team, where you'll have the opportunity to design and build data pipelines that simplify our technology landscape.
About the Role
This is a permanent position based in Sydney or the Gold Coast (multiple roles available). You'll collaborate with our talented team to develop scalable technical solutions using modern data platforms like Azure Data PaaS, Snowflake, Teradata Vantage and Informatica. Additionally, you'll apply your analytical skills to solve complex problems and shape customer outcomes.
Your Skills
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Hands-on coding skills in Python, SQL and Informatica ETL.
- Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Spark and Kafka.
- Proven track record of deploying solutions in production for large-scale programs.
- Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Services, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Cosmos DB, Snowflake and Teradata platforms.
- Understanding of data modeling, governance and architecture principles.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborative mindset with an agile and innovative approach.
