We are seeking a talented Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team in Laverton, specialising in heavy vehicle repairs and maintenance for our on-highway automotive customers.

Estimated Salary: $80-$110 per hour (competitive hourly rate)

Job Description

In this role, you will make an impact by delivering exceptional service to our customers, completing complex repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel and engine products, diagnosing and repairing various engines, rebuilding and reconditioning engines, and working with other major OEMs such as Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Mechanical trades qualified - Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic with heavy experience
  • Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products
  • Ideal possession of engine rebuild and reconditioning experience or knowledge
  • Hitachi, Komatsu & Liebherr experience highly desirable

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, plus overtime + bonus + super. Our fixed rotating roster includes 2 weeks dayshift, 1 week afternoon shift. You will work in a modern well-equipped facility based in Laverton.
