We are seeking a skilled and resourceful yard operative to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the maintenance of plant and equipment inventory
  • Organize and maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment
  • Manage load and unload material deliveries in a timely manner
  • Ensure the yard is organized and free from hazards
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks to keep heavy machinery well maintained and cleaned
  • Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license advantageous for site visits
  • Current forklift license essential for operating machinery
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment (minimum 1 year)
  • Ability to use power tools safely and efficiently
  • Building industry experience preferred, but not essential
