About The Role

The AOD Practitioner is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients affected by alcohol and other drug use.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide evidence-based therapeutic assessments and interventions to clients.
  2. Develop and deliver life skills, recreation, and educational programs to support client recovery.
  3. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
  4. Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organizational requirements.
  5. Contribute to the organization's continuous quality improvement and health and safety programs.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioural Science, Nursing Mental Health, or Counselling, and eligibility for registration with AHPRA.
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience in working with clients within a case management framework.
  3. Experience working in a Therapeutic Community highly desirable.
  4. Current Drivers Licence and Police Clearance.
