  • This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Homelessness Diversion Officer, working closely with clients to address the root causes of homelessness.
Job Description:

We're seeking a skilled and empathetic individual to provide case management services to those at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Your primary focus will be on diverting clients away from the homelessness system, connecting them with essential resources, and empowering them to achieve stability and self-sufficiency.

As a key member of our team, you'll work collaboratively with Access Workers, community partners, and other stakeholders to develop effective solutions for each client's unique situation. Your expertise will include person-centered case management, assessment, and referral within a trauma-informed practice framework.

Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Human Services (or similar qualification)
  • Demonstrated experience in homelessness services, including knowledge of government policies and their impact on First Nations people
  • High-level interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
