About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Regional Business Development Representative to join their team based in Brisbane's Southside.

Position Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to bring their expertise in business and territory development to expand the customer base and drive sales growth.

  • Achieve sales targets for both new and pre-owned equipment while fostering strong customer relationships.
  • Implement effective product- and application-specific sales strategies.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including inquiries, product demonstrations and equipment delivery.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and business forums.
  • Maintain precise sales records and customer databases while contributing to tender preparations.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. BUILDING STRONG CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS: Achieving sales targets for new and pre-owned equipment while fostering long-term partnerships with customers.
  2. DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE SALES STRATEGIES: Implementing tailored product- and application-specific sales approaches to drive sales growth.
  3. MANAGING THE SALES CYCLE: Managing the entire sales process from initial inquiry to product delivery and beyond.
  4. REPRESENTING THE COMPANY: Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and business forums to maintain brand presence and build industry connections.
  5. MAINTAINING ACCURATE RECORDS: Maintaining precise sales records and customer databases to support business development efforts.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a strong understanding of market trends, and the ability to adapt sales techniques to meet customer needs. Proficiency in electronic systems and tools for reporting and CRM is also essential.
