About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for animal care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position located 10 minutes from Perth CBD, offering a supportive and collaborative team environment, access to continuing education and training programs, employee discounts on veterinary services and pet products, and health and wellness perks and benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake general nursing duties including surgical and medical nursing, consult nursing, emergency and critical care, and pathology
  • Perform minor procedures when required
  • Care for, handle and clean all animals
  • Maintain the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
  • Provide reception duties including being the first point of contact for clients, handling client enquiries in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, admitting and discharging patients
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience
  • Calm and friendly attitude
  • Excellent animal handling skills
  • An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
  • Good organisational, communication and customer service skills
  • Flexible and adaptable within a team environment
  • Knowledge of RX Works is ideal but not essential
