Mathematics Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly effective and dedicated leader to take on the role of permanent full-time Mathematics Coordinator. This position will commence in January 2025, working collaboratively with the Dean of Learning, Assistant Deans of Learning, and Mathematics faculty members across all year groups.

As a Mathematics Coordinator, you will lead the Mathematics Faculty, develop curriculum, assess student progress, and foster a collaborative learning culture within the school community. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the College's Curriculum Leadership Team (CLT) and drive achievement and growth in the HSC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the Mathematics Faculty to achieve academic excellence and improve student outcomes
  • Developing and implementing curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners
  • Assessing student progress and providing targeted support to ensure individualized learning pathways
  • Fostering a collaborative and research-driven approach to excellence in teaching and learning
  • Contributing to the College's learning culture as a member of the CLT
