Job Overview

The role of Paediatric Allied Health Services Director involves providing strategic oversight and coordination of paediatric inpatient and outpatient services delivered by Allied Health professionals across multiple sites.

This position requires leadership skills to manage paediatric outpatient services, working closely with Allied Health Discipline Leads and collaborating with nursing and medical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide management oversight and coordination of paediatric inpatient and outpatient services
  • Lead and coordinate paediatric outpatient services
  • Work closely with Allied Health Discipline Leads
  • Engage with nursing and medical teams on behalf of Allied Health
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of an appropriate allied health course of study at a recognised tertiary institution
  • Current Working with Children Registration
  • A minimum of five years post graduate experience directly relevant to the duties of the position
  • Expertise in paediatric care; in particular, behavioural, or mental health
