William Adams, a renowned Caterpillar Dealer with almost 100 years of experience, is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join their team in Clayton.

This full-time, permanent role offers career growth and development opportunities, reporting directly to the Parts Manager. You will work Monday to Friday on a rotating roster and participate in a Saturday morning roster with some after-hours support.

A typical day will involve:

  • Handling front counter enquiries, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Locating Cat parts for customers and technicians
  • Following up and actioning outstanding jobs related to parts inquiries and customer concerns
  • Using system-based parts interpreting skills, leveraging digital and print resources
  • Performing parts warehousing tasks, including receiving, order picking, and dispatch
  • Maintaining company accounts receivable processes for parts sales transactions
  • Assisting with display area operations and stock cleanliness

We are looking for a candidate with a true passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude. Relevant mechanical knowledge and background in earthmoving and/or automotive is preferred.

You will also require proficiency in Microsoft applications, experience working on different systems/databases, and exceptional organisational skills to handle multiple tasks. Knowledge of Caterpillar products is a plus but not essential.
