Trade Assistant

We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic professionals to join our team as Boilermakers, Fitters, and Trade Assistants in a casual capacity. This role involves supporting a variety of projects, shutdowns, and maintenance activities across Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:- Support project teams with shutdowns, maintenance, and project tasks.
- Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on mechanical machinery.
- Engage in fault finding and troubleshooting.
- Maintain high standards of safety and accurate record-keeping.
- Carry out general trade assistance tasks as required.
- Australian recognized trade qualification in Mechanical Trade (for Boilermaker and Fitter roles).
- Solid understanding of HSE requirements and obligations.
- LF, EWP, WAH, and Confined Space certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and hold a current driver's license.
- Experience with MIG, TIG, or ARC welding is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- 7:00am - 3:30pm (subject to change)
