About the Role

We are currently hiring for a Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at Coles Supermarkets. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with customers on a daily basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for scanning items, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service. You will also be required to work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scanning items and processing payments accurately and efficiently
  • Providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

  • A commitment to providing great customer experiences by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
  • To know your stuff, as you'll be a go-to person for customer queries
  • To be active – you'll be on your feet for long periods of time and may require some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching
  • The availability to work flexible hours across our store trading days (including early mornings, evenings, and weekends)

About You and Your Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service and work well under pressure. You should also be able to lift up to 20kg occasionally and stand for long periods of time.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $25-30 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive hourly rate, you will also receive a range of benefits including:
