About the Role:As an Environmental Remediation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing remediation solutions across various sectors, including oil and gas, transport, manufacturing, and industrial sites. You will conduct detailed environmental site assessments and analyze data from soil, groundwater, soil vapour, ambient air, sediment, and surface water.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement remediation solutions to mitigate environmental contamination.
- Conduct thorough environmental site assessments to identify contamination sources and develop effective remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with technical specialists and auditors to develop and implement remediation measures.
- Mentor junior staff and assist with project scoping, design, installation, and evaluation of remediation solutions.
- Build strong relationships with clients and contribute to the growth of the local team.
You will be a motivated professional with experience in contaminated site remediation and a solid understanding of soil and groundwater contaminants. You will possess skills in contaminated land sampling, investigation methodologies, and remediation technologies. You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental engineering, science, geology, or related fields.
You will be familiar with WHS regulations and have hands-on experience in a similar role. You will be keen to develop your skills and contribute to the growth of the team.
