Job Overview

Forensic Data Analysts play a pivotal role in helping organisations protect and restore their enterprise and financial reputation. They investigate facts, resolve disputes, and manage regulatory challenges to put integrity at the heart of compliance programs.


This role involves working with market leading advanced data analytic tools to generate insights that support fraud investigations, disputes, and regulatory compliance challenges for clients across various industries.


  • Use data analytic tools to extract insights from high-volume structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
  • Develop forensic procedures, define measurable data metrics, and design investigative analysis.
  • Extract, validate, transform, and load high-volume data for deeper analysis.
  • Develop algorithms, data mining, and data analytic solutions to assist clients with detection of fraud, bribery, and corruption.
  • Support senior team members in preparing and presenting client deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, along with proficiency in data manipulation languages like SQL, statistical techniques, and analytical tools like Alteryx, Python, R, or similar packages.


They will also have the ability to communicate technical information in non-technical language, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and hypothesise, analyse, and draw conclusions from financial and operational data.


  • Academic or professional experience in relevant fields like Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation software like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Understanding of Azure/AWS cloud computing platforms, commercial relational database systems, and enterprise software solutions.
  • Knowledge of algorithms, big data technologies, and financial processes.
