Job Opportunity

The role of a leading teacher involves undertaking leadership and management responsibilities to improve the skill, knowledge and performance of the teaching workforce in a school or group of schools.

  • Coordinating staff to achieve improvements in teaching and learning is an essential aspect of this role.
  • Modeling, collaborating and coaching colleagues through professional support is crucial in developing the knowledge, practice and professional engagement of others.

This position requires independence and the ability to lead and manage significant areas or functions within the school.

Duties:
  • Leading pathways and transition programs to maximise educational outcomes for every student is a key responsibility.
  • An active and supportive member of the college leadership team is expected to contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve student outcomes.
  • Supporting the community to exemplify college values and vision is also a critical aspect of this role.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
