About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Wellbeing Team Member to join our team at Aged Care GP, where we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and their families, and to be part of a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively encourage residents to participate in recreational and leisure experiences, wellbeing programs, and individual social engagement, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support.
  • Assist with care plans and programs, and continually explore new opportunities and programs to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Provide excellent care and support to residents, and demonstrate empathy and understanding of their needs and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of wellbeing programs and activities that promote resident engagement and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual (Ageing or Disability) Support, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in a residential aged care setting, with a focus on wellbeing and lifestyle enrichment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Current police check and seasonal influenza vaccination.
