Key Roles and Responsibilities

The SMSF Accountant will play a key part in our Melbourne division, working closely with passionate professionals on a wide range of funds.

  • Prepare workpapers and financial statements in accordance with current legal and accounting standards.
  • Liaise with auditors, addressing queries as they arise.
  • Ensure SMSFs comply with regulations relating to investments, transactions, and loans.
  • Prepare documents for client meetings and assist during meetings as required.
  • Manage workflow to ensure timely lodgements for income tax, GST, and other relevant submissions.
