Regional Director

Boral is seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as a Regional Asphalt Manager, based in Bendigo. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading a diverse range of departments to drive business performance and growth.

• Represent Boral as the senior management representative in the region, fostering strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement strategic solutions to drive short and long-term sustainability, ensuring the region's operations are optimized for success.
• Lead and drive HSEQ strategies, initiatives, and standards, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
• Manage asphalt and spray seal operations within the region, integrating with other regions and states to achieve business objectives.
• Oversee business elements, including safety, financial performance, accountability, production, technical awareness, plant and equipment utilization, and customer service.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the regional customer base, ensuring Boral provides superior customer service.
• Lead personnel management, focusing on upskilling, development, and succession planning to drive business growth.

• Intrinsic drive to succeed, inspiring the team and installing confidence in both the team and customer expectations and delivery.
• Experience in managing contracting teams, customer relationships, safety expectations, and commercial aspects of projects or businesses.
• Commitment to Zero Harm and demonstrated safety leadership behaviors.
• Asphalt and Spray Sealing industry experience highly regarded but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with personnel and to lead and influence people.
