Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure APIs using Node.js.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective API solutions.
  • Optimize APIs for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring high availability and seamless integration with other systems.
  • Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure data security and privacy.
  • Write comprehensive and well-structured documentation for APIs, making it easy for internal and external developers to integrate and use.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in API development and Node.js technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Backend Software Engineer, with a strong focus on Node.js development.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
  • Proficient in working with databases, such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize complex Node.js applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with other JavaScript frameworks and libraries is a plus.
