Job Title: Master Fryer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Master Fryer to join our team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and maintaining deep-frying equipment, ensuring food is cooked to the correct texture and temperature while following safety and quality standards.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring all food preparation and serving areas meet safe and sanitary food-handling standards. This includes regulating cooking equipment temperatures to ensure proper food preparation and storing food safely in temperature-controlled facilities.

The role involves preparing, cooking, and seasoning food according to recipes or professional experience. Additionally, the Master Fryer will monitor and test food to ensure it is cooked properly using tasting, smelling, or utensils.

Other key responsibilities include weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients following recipes and using appropriate kitchen equipment, estimating expected food consumption and organizing preparation accordingly, and coordinating and supervising kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and quality.

Essential Skills & Requirements:
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-organized with good time management and communication skills.
  • A strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) regulations in a kitchen environment.
