Job Description:

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Services Officer to join our team at Tassal. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and factory equipment.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with shift times between 6am-2pm. The role is based in Dover, offering a great work-life balance and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Wastewater Treatment: Monitor the operation of our wastewater treatment plant and take samples to ensure compliance.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Work proactively to reduce downtime and ensure peak production levels.
  • General Maintenance Duties: Assist the wider maintenance team with general duties as required.

What We're Looking For

  • A highly self-motivated and accountable individual with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced FMCG environment is desirable.
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive approach towards continuous improvement.
