About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lecturer, Educator Development and Recognition to join our team at Queensland University of Technology.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Strategic Lead, Educator Development and Recognition and colleagues across the Learning and Teaching Unit (LTU) within a tiered service model.
As a Lecturer, Educator Development and Recognition, you will create and produce digital self-help resources and design and lead workshops and development activities that enable QUT staff involved in learning and teaching to develop their pedagogical practice, engage in evidence-based decision-making and expert peer review, and gain recognition through standards-based pathways and programs.
This position is based in the QUT Academy of Learning and Teaching (QALT) team in Student Success and Teaching Advancement and reports to the Strategic Lead, Educator Development and Recognition for career planning, development, and performance expectations.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline area or equivalent professional experience and standing;
- Recognition as a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and/or completion of a Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice qualification (or equivalent);
- Pedagogical expertise and leadership in learning and teaching, including demonstrated innovative curriculum design and teaching face-to-face and online at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- Demonstrated research track record in the scholarship of learning and teaching, evidenced through impactful research activity such as quality publications and grants;
- Proven capability to work effectively across disciplinary boundaries, including the ability to establish positive collaborative working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders;
- Ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret quantitative and/or qualitative data and information that contributes to the development of educational practice and/or organisational level policy in line with strategic objectives;

$130,347 to $154,804 per annum (inclusive of $110,145 to $130,811 salary pa, 17% superannuation and leave loading)
