About the Opportunity

Our organisation is seeking a skilled Allied Health Assistant to provide quality client care under the direction of an Allied Health Professional.

The position involves working with clients in group or individual sessions, either in centre, home-based or in the community.

  • Assist with the preparation of resources required for client therapy
  • Maintain clinical equipment
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Grade 2 AHA with Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance
  • Current Full Victorian (or equivalent) Drivers Licence
  • Strong, relevant clinical skills and experience in sub-acute/community setting especially working in the field of Speech Pathology
  • Experience and knowledge in working with people with complex, chronic physical and psychosocial care needs
  • Demonstrated agility to change and amend work priorities and goals accordingly
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or be in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
