Our client is seeking reliable Grounds and Garden Maintenance workers to service multiple large social housing sites around the Queanbeyan/Canberra area. This Monday-to-Friday role offers a competitive hourly rate of $32.50, with all necessary tools provided to deliver high-quality landscaping and maintenance services.

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced professionals who can handle various tasks including landscaping, grounds maintenance, garden refreshing, pressure washing, and waste management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, sweeping/blowing, pruning, hedge/tree trimming, weed control, and turf maintenance across multiple sites.
  • Conduct garden refreshing activities including installing woodchip, mulch, and new plants as required.
  • Provide exterior pressure washing services when needed.
  • Remove and transfer garden waste to authorized disposal stations with the team leader.

What You Bring:

  • Prior experience in grounds or landscaping maintenance is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ride-on mowers and whipper snippers is advantageous.
  • You should be able to multitask, work independently, and make quick, sound decisions.
  • High standards of integrity, reliability, and customer service skills are essential.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and complete tasks efficiently is necessary.
  • It would be ideal if you have your own PPE and transport, but willingness to travel with the team leader is acceptable.
