
Water Resource Recovery Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join the water industry, operating and maintaining our water resource recovery assets in a truly diverse and interesting role. No two days are the same.
Job DescriptionAs a Production Officer, you'll play a key role in the safe operation and maintenance of water resource recovery assets, ensuring environmental protection, compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
You will report directly to the Production Manager, where you'll contribute to the delivery of high-quality water resource recovery services to local communities. You will be based predominantly from our facility at Liverpool.
Key Responsibilities- Operating plants in all conditions, in alignment with industry frameworks including health and safety requirements, quality management protocols, incident response and business continuity frameworks
- Undertaking daily plant performance monitoring and adjusting process control parameters
- Contributing to the prioritisation of maintenance and renewals to inform weekly scheduling, monthly forecasting and medium to long-term planning
- Executing on-site process and asset checks using available systems, processes and procedures
- Trade qualifications (electrician / instrumentation specialist or mechanical) or equivalent experience
- Current driver's license and your own vehicle with flexibility to travel across various locations within your hub
- Experience in production or manufacturing within the water industry is highly advantageous
- Computer skills, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable learning customised software packages
