About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist or Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at Mars Recruitment. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify participant needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Prescribe and recommend assistive technology and mobility aids to enhance daily living activities and independence.
  • Collaborate with participants and their families to implement interventions and provide education on daily living skills.
  • Evaluate service effectiveness and outcomes based on participant goals.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical practices, procedures, and policies within the Therapy Services Team.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Current Police Clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening.
  • Proven experience in working with individuals with disabilities, psychosocial disabilities, families, and carers.
  • Strong commitment to dignity, respect, inclusion, and empowerment of participants.
