Project Manager - Contract Position

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead and manage project planning, scheduling, and delivery for a leading government client. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building and maintaining project management capability, including the development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project planning by collating information from contract documents, the project team, and other relevant sources into a WBS.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring ongoing integrity and measurement of project actuals against baseline.
  • Monitor and review trends, activities, and variances in schedules.
  • Prepare highlight reports to provide overall performance updates on projects.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to manage project meetings, minutes, and actions.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of project management tools and templates.
Requirements:
  • Sound knowledge of risk models, including RAID log and Monte Carlo simulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Experience with project management tools, including MS Project and Planner.
  • Basic accounting knowledge.
  • Sound interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
